HB 3876 - Tax Collection

Clarifies who is responsible for collecting and remitting state and local accommodations taxes on short term rental transactions, including platforms and intermediaries.

HB 3861 - Prohibit Local Bans

Prohibits cities and counties from banning short term rentals outright, limiting local governments to regulation rather than prohibition.

SB 442 - Local Ordinances

Explicitly authorizes local governments to regulate or prohibit short term rentals through local ordinances, including permitting, zoning, and enforcement.
